If you go to Hallie's blog (listed in the right hand column), you'll get to see what she got to participate in on Wednesday. There hasn't been a US President or past US President in this town for 90 years! So it's only Bill, but hey, he WAS the president!
Unfortunately for him, he was a little bit upstaged by the "bigger" news in town which was the naming of our new basketball coach. Everyone seems very excited by the new hire and it looks like we have a quality guy this time. Needless to say, our little town was a-buzzin' today.
You can also see that Hallie's swelling is down and back to normal. Her mouth healed up quite nicely, thankfully. Of course now we're back to soft foods for a few more days because she got her braces tightened on Tuesday and now she has new rubberbands that form a triangle shape from top to bottom. At night she has to reposition them and it keeps her mouth closed completely. Crazy! Progress is being made though and she'll have this whole mess done with before she ever reaches high school!
