The next visitors we had were my mom and dad. We ordered some beautiful weather for them and my number one goal was accomplished to some degree...they were able to actually relax a little! We live about 20 minutes from a huge lake so we rented a pontoon boat and spent a gorgeous afternoon out on the water. The kids had a lot of fun on the "tube" and Ollie got a lot of swimming in that day. That evening the "boys" were able to go to an IU football game while we "girls" did some shopping.
The next day we were able to meet up with the Tilleys who go WAY back with Dad and Mom. We enjoyed visiting the cabin where they were staying in Brown County and the four of them had a lot to catch up on!
We so enjoyed having "Grandpa and Grandma" here and I just love it when our children can spend quality time with that generation! It's soooo important!! Thanks, Dad and Mom, for coming to visit...come back any time!!
NOTE: For those of you who aren't on facebook, you may not know that Dad had a cardiac catheterization this past week with angioplasty and three stents put into place. He had a couple areas of 80-90% blockage and we're just thankful that he only had some short episodes of chest pain that made him aware of the bigger problem. He is doing well and we're very thankful for all the prayers and support from those of you who knew about it. By the way, for those of you who live near him, if you see him at Dunkin Donuts...kindly tell him that Jen said "Go Home!!"
