I just had to post a picture of these homemade cinnamon rolls I made a few weeks ago. I first tasted them at one of our church's Mom's meetings because my friend Anne brought them. She bakes something almost every day and LOVES TO BAKE!! They were delicious and I just had to try my hand at them. While kneading the dough I realized that I don't think I had ever kneaded dough before (I can't remember anyway)!! GASP! I know my friend Laura Hausman probably just passed out (I remember watching her make dough for rolls back in our college days). I think I've only made Sharon Addison's dinner rolls and you don't have to knead those. Anyway, they turned out great and I was VERY proud of my efforts. It made 24 cinnamon rolls so we enjoyed them for several days. It's the icing that tastes just like Cinnabon's if I do say so myself! Thanks for the recipe, Anne.
Here's a shutterfly album that has the pictures from Halloween, Election Day and a trip to the Indianapolis Zoo/White River Gardens. You don't have to sign in to see the pictures, just click on "View Pictures". I didn't put any captions. Stay tuned for Carlie's birthday blog...
